The year 2021 was filled with many deployments and assignments for our Krew. Many of our Reservists spent countless weeks away from family, friends, and loved ones. Spending hours on their feet sometimes wearing two or three layers of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Our Reservists have given up sleep, meals, and their social life to help others during their greatest time of need. Krucial is grateful to our Reservists and understands the importance of having time to relax and rest after weeks of demanding work. To help our Reservists get the rest they deserve, Krucial Rapid Response has recently partnered with Wyndham Hotels & Resort to provide a way for you, our Reservist, to save for a vacation. It was hard to narrow down the list from the thousands of locations, but we did it! Luckily, Wyndham offers numerous beautiful locations, and we made sure to include a wide variety of travel destinations, local and abroad, for you. This list includes natural beauty, relaxation, and adventure. 

1. The Alexander, a Dolce by Wyndham

The Alexander has earned its place on this list for assorted reasons. One is due to its winning the 2016 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for its artwork of hospitality. After visiting this location, you will see that every area is consumed by beautiful artwork. The Alexander is suited for those who want to get away but still want to stay in the mix; located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, giving you easy access to the places on your itinerary. Such as the Indianapolis Speedway, the Repertory Theatre, or the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis (the world’s largest children’s museum). Suppose you want to stay in the hotel – there are four fine dining options in the hotel, including the Market Table run by Chef Jeremy Martindale. After trying out the restaurants, you can check out their spa and golf courses or walk around the hotel to admire the artwork.

2. Aspen Meadows Resort, a Dolce by Wyndham

 The Aspen Meadow is a beautiful getaway to see nature at its finest. Aspen Meadows Resort is in the Rocky Mountains between a forest and meadow. Giving you a breath of fresh air and stillness that one cannot get on an average day. It is known for being designed by a famous artist and architect, Herbert Bayer. You will be able to see his artwork throughout the resort. For activities, you can play golf, eat at their exclusive restaurants, or go to the two art galleries included in the resort. The resort offers a shuttle to activities outside the hotel such as snowboarding, skiing, horseback riding, golf and so much more. Whether it is summer or winter, Colorado will always have fun adventures for you and your family to enjoy.

3. Silverado Resort and Spa, a Dolce by Wyndham

What is the best way to relax after a long day? If you happen to think, “with a glass of wine,” then Silverado Resort is perfect for you. Silverado Resort is stationed in Napa Valley, complemented by the picturesque terrain of the vast number of wineries nearby. There are over a hundred wineries to choose from. However, visiting the local wineries is not your only option; you can go hiking, shopping, or immerse yourself in the culture. Back at the resort, you can play golf on a championship golf course, play tennis, or take a dive in their outdoor pool. The Silverado Resort is also a beautiful place to hold events like weddings or business trips.

4. Seaview Hotel, a Dolce by Wyndham

Known for housing the 1942 PGA Championship, the Seaview Hotel is an ideal location to go to if you are an enthusiastic fan of golf. There are two 18-hole golf courses, including a championship course. You can even take private lessons to improve your golf skills if you wish. In addition to the golf course, the Seaview provides a heated indoor pool, a hot tub, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. If none of those ventures pique your interests, you can step out to the beachfront, as the Seaview Hotel is in Reeds Bay. Choosing The Seaview Hotel will not disappoint you!

5. Turtle Island Beach Resort in San Pedro, Belize

If you want to escape to a beautiful beach paradise, Belize is the best option. Belize offers tropical weather, white sand, and crystal blue water. The Turtle Island Resort is a newly renovated resort located on the beachfront of San Pedro. This resort offers the choice of a beach house or villa. Both come with amenities such as a pantry, balcony, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Once you settle in, you have the option to soak up the sun at the private beach, relax in the spa, or enjoy fine eatery. Additionally, there is a butler service to call upon and a bar to meet other patrons. Talk about fully relaxing! Once you have soaked up the sun you can plan a day trip to the main island of Belize. After catching a complimentary boat to the city, you can go sightseeing or shop until you drop.

6. Wyndham New Orleans-French Quarter

If you ever tried to book a hotel in New Orleans, you know how hard it is to find something near the French Quarter, which is necessary when visiting NOLA. Luckily for you, Wyndham has one of the best locations for visiting New Orleans. It is directly in the French Quarter, allowing you to walk around and explore. In the French Quarter, you need to visit Café du Monde to try their fresh beignets and hot chocolate. Afterward, you must stroll down to Bourbon Street and check out Fritzel’s European Jazz Club. This hotel is also near the Mercedes Stadium if you choose to see a Saints game. From amazing food to a fun night out, Wyndham New Orleans is the place to book to have a memorable time.
