Krucial Awarded Certification from The Joint Commission

By: Mike Vietti

We’ve got great news to share: Krucial has been awarded The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services Certification!

The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards.

“Health Care Staffing Services Certification recognizes health care staffing firms committed to striving for excellence and fostering continuous improvement in patient safety and quality of care,” said Ken Grubbs, DNP, MBA, RN, executive vice president of Accreditation and Certification Operations and chief nursing officer, The Joint Commission. “We commend Krucial Rapid Response for using The Joint Commission certification process to reduce variation in clinical processes and to strengthen its clinical program to drive safer, higher quality and more compassionate care for individuals served.”

Health Care Staffing Services Certification demonstrates Krucial’s efforts to address how qualifications and competencies of staff are determined, placement of staff and how their performance is monitored.

Krucial underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review earlier in 2024. The Joint Commission staff evaluated compliance with related certification standards such as program management, supporting self-management, and delivering and facilitating clinical care. Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. The reviewers also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

Founded in 1951, the mission of The Joint Commission is to continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value. Like Krucial, The Joint Commission is an independent non-profit organization and it accredits more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.

You might be asking, “What does all of this mean?”

The short answer is that it verifies Krucial’s commitment to excellence as a staffing organization and that our 400,000+ Reservists and partnering organizations around the country can continue to expect the organization to deliver excellence.
